We are Walt Partin and wife Brenda Howard. Our adventure in bloodhounds began in 1988 when we purchased our first bloodhound, "Aggie". Aggie was a great dog, not a show quality bloodhound, but she had the heart of a champion. We made lots of mistakes and learned a great deal from Aggie. It wasn't long before we aquired our first show prospect, a lovely black and tan bitch named "Mavis". Next we were blessed with our third bloodhound, "Major". Mavis and Major finished their championships on the same day by going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners. We have shown and loved the breed ever since.

How did we get our name? We breed seldom, as in every blue moon or so. This is because we take breeding seriously. We do our best to breed quality bloodhounds and place them in loving homes whether they are to show, work or keep their owners company. We spell blue with double o's because when our bloodhounds howl, they make o's with their lips!

We have attended many show events, including our breed nationals, which have taken us all over the U.S. We have found that bloodhound "People" are much like their dogs, friendly, nosey, and love to eat!

We are very involved in breed rescue and have fostered many unwanted bloodhounds looking for their forever home through South Central Bloodhound Club. We are also active members in the national breed club.
